SCD unable to auto start [Error Code:9078]
Cause¶
The SCD cannot be started due to failure in a leak check, etc.
Solution¶
If a leak check has failed,check the following and perform a leak check again.
①Connecting columns¶
Installation of Capillary Column (SCD Detector)
②Inner pyrotube¶
- Check it is damaged.
- Check it has a buckling.
- Check ferrule is inserted correctly.
Replacement of SCD Inner Pyrotube
③Vacuum pump¶
Turn off the main power of the instrument, stop gas supply, and contact your Shimadzu sales/service representative for vacuum pump maintenance.
Reset the count value after maintenance.
④Ozone scrubber¶
- Check the vacuum pump and ozone scrubber for leaks.
