SCD exhaust for vacuum error [Error Code:6113]

Cause¶

A leak has occurred inside the SCD.

Solution¶

Determine the cause of the leak by referring to the table below.
If the error persists, turn off the main power of the instrument, stop gas supply, and contact your Shimadzu sales/service representative to ask for part replacement.

Cause	Solution
The inner pyrotube is broken.	Replace the inner pyrotube. Replacement of SCD Inner Pyrotube
The back ring is not installed on the inner pyrotube.	Install the back ring on the inner pyrotube. Replacement of SCD Inner Pyrotube
The ferrule of the inner pyrotube is not inserted correctly.	Check that the ferrule is inserted in the inner pyrotube and that there is no abnormality in the ferrule. Replacement of SCD Inner Pyrotube
The column is not properly tightened.	・Check the tightening condition of the nut. ・Additionally tighten it. Installation of Capillary Column (SCD Detector)
The vacuum pump is not turned on.	Turn on the switch.
The degree of vacuum is inadequate.	Turn off the main power to the instrument, and contact your Shimadzu sales/service representative to perform maintenance on the vacuum pump. After maintenance, reset the count value.
There is a leak between the vacuum pump and ozone scrubber.	Additionally tighten the connection. Replacement of SCD Ozone Scrubber
