Procedures

Step 1

On the instrument monitor or workstation, check that the temperature of the column oven is lower than 40 °C, and check that the temperatures of the injection port and detector are 50 °C or lower.
After checking the temperatures, turn OFF the main power to the instrument.

Step 2

Open INJ/DET cover.

Step 3

Remove FPD body fixing screw with a phillips screwdriver (①).

Step 4

Remove the head part (★1).

Step 5

Remove 2 igniter fixing screws with a phillips screwdriver.

Step 6

Remove igniter holder.

Step 7

Pull out igniter filament from the head part.

Check that the filament is not broken or degraded. If the filament is broken or degraded, remove the connector and replace it with a new igniter.

Step 8

Insert igniter filament into the head part.

Step 9

Install igniter holder and fix it with 2 screws.

Step 10

Install the head part.

Step 11

Install FPD body fixing screw with a phillips screwdriver (①).

Step 12

Close INJ/DET cover.
