When [Leak Check] is set to [On]¶
Step 1¶
Click the [Setting up] button in the [Easy sTop] window. The leak check is performed.
Step 2¶
If [Leak Check Failed] is displayed in the window, click the [Carrier Gas Stop] button in the [Easy sTop] window to stop the carrier gas again.
Step 3¶
When the [Replace the septum and/or liner] message is displayed in the window, the transition to maintenance mode is complete. Check the connections at the locations where maintenance was performed.
Step 4¶
After checking the locations where maintenance was performed, click the [Setting up] button in the [Easy sTop] window again.
The leak check starts. The instrument exits maintenance mode when the leak check is passed. When [Complete] is displayed in the window, close the window.
Step 5¶
Reset the number of uses for the replaced consumables. For details, see Resetting the Consumable Usage Count .
When [Leak Check] is set to [Off]¶
Step 1¶
Click the [Setting up] button in the [Easy sTop] window.
The instrument exits maintenance mode. After the carrier gas flows for a specified amount of time, the temperature control for the injection port and oven resumes. When [Complete] is displayed in the window, close the window.

Reset the number of uses for the replaced consumables. For details, see Resetting the Consumable Usage Count .

Resetting the Consumable Usage Count¶
Reset the number of uses for the replaced consumables in the [Consumable Reset] window on the workstation.
When using LabSolutions, perform any of the procedures described below to display the [Consumable Reset] window.
- Click the consumables indicator for the Autosampler + Injection Port unit on the control panel.
- Click the [Consumables Reset...] button in the system control tool bar.
- Click [Detail...] in the [Instrument Monitor] window to display the [Instrument Monitor Details] window, then click the [Consumable Reset...] button on the [Consumables] tab page.
In the [Consumable Reset] window that is displayed, click the [Reset] button to reset the number of uses for the replaced consumables.
