DET#n FID filament error [Error Code:4183 4184 4185 4186]

Cause¶

An abnormality has occurred in the filament of the ignitor in FID-U(2.0).

• If the actual value of the error message is 0, the ignitor is short-circuited, causing an abnormality in the ignitor applied voltage.
• If the actual value of the error message is 1, the ignitor is either disconnected or short-circuited, causing an abnormality in the ignitor current.

Solution¶

Turn off the main power of the instrument, stop gas supply, and contact your Shimadzu sales/service representative to ask for part replacement.
