Oven suction pump error. Stop the instrument. [Error Code:118]

Cause¶

There is a problem with the oven suction pump.

Solution¶

The hydrogen sensor may be clogged, so replace the filter of the hydrogen sensor (Ver.2) by Filter replacement of hydrogen sensor(HYS) .

If you do not have a replacement filter, or if the problem persists after replacing the filter, contact your Shimadzu sales/service representative.

Reference¶

You can temporarily turn off the hydrogen sensor before replacing the filter. In that case, follow the steps below.

1. Turn on the main power and select ⑦[Peripherals] on the HOME.
   
   

   
2. On the Peripherals screen, select ③[Hydrogen Leak Check Function].
   
   

   
3. Press [Ver.2] at the upper right of ①[Hydrogen Sensor] to change it to [None].
   
   

   
4. After changing, wait about 10 seconds and then turn off the main power of the instrument.
5. Turn on the main power of the instrument. (A warning will be displayed at startup, but this is not a problem.)
