Detector FPD-2010Plus

Maintenance works must only be undertaken after the temperature of each part has been lowered to less than 50 deg.C.
Place any detached items on a clean sheet or tray. Do not lose or contaminate these items.
Undertake the works using the appropriate tools. Any dirt on the tools being used must be wiped off in advance using gauze etc. dipped in acetone.
Do not remove the photomultiplier unit while the system is operating or the FPD is on as this may damage the photomultiplier.

1	Shutdown the system.
2		Remove the knurled screw on the top.
3		Slide the FPD top cover borad then remove it.
4		Slowly pull the photomultiplier unit out horizontally to remove it. Cover the photomultiplier receiver with aluminum foil etc. to avoid exposure to intense light.
5		Rotate the interference filter by hand and remove it. It is easier to rotate it with the finger stall in the standard accessory.
6		Wipe away any dirt on the filter surface using a soft cloth. Filter assembly for S (Sulfur) : 221-72254-01 Filter assembly for P (Phosphorus) : 221-73354-02 Filter assembly for Sn (Tin) : 221-73354-03
7	The filter assembly for FPD-2010Plus consists of a flter, a lenz and other parts. If you want to replace the filter only, the filter set is available. Since the filters are common to FPD-2010, it is also possible to exchange them each other. FPD-2010Plus Exchanging the Interference Filter
8		Check the O-ring of the interference filter and replace it if it shows signs of deterioration. O-ring, for inside the filter 036-19006-14 O-ring, for outside the filter 036-19006-17
9	Rotate the interference filter by hand to attach it.
10	Attach the photomultiplier unit slowly.
11		Put back the top cover board and slide it to adjust the screw position.
12		Tighten the knurled screw with pulling the board to the left so that it settles the photomultiplier unit.
13	Start up the system.
